We will always have our Angel wine!

My dearest Cheryl......We will always have our Angel wine!! I know you were not much of a drinker...before us Bunko ladies corrupted you..lol! I know you were a little taken back by us...mostly me...BUT...you smiled, you laughed, you had fun. You always had a smile on your face and some homemade goodies when our Bunko Friday rolled around once a month. Cheryl...I will go out today and buy a bottle of the sweet Angel wine that you liked so much....and I will raise my glass in toast to you for having touched my life and the lives of many others during your short trip here on earth. I will toast your wonderful family....and how loving, caring, nurturing and devoted a wife and mother you were. I will toast to your beauty, both inside and out. I will toast that I was blessed to have been given the rare opportunity to know you as both a neighbor and a friend. I will miss you...and after I'm finished crying for the great loss to me and the rest of us still bound here on earth....I will spend the rest of my days TRYING to remember to cherish each and every day that I am given with my loved ones....Oh...and every time I have that sweet Angel wine..I will raise my glass in your honor......With a nod & a wink....I will miss you lady!!

Your neighbor, friend and Bunko pal.....Michelle Dunn

  1. Well said Michelle...Cheryl, you were truly a lover of life and it showed in your smile (which I don't ever think left your face!) and I am thankful for the short 3 yrs I have known you as a neighbor, fellow BES mom and Bunco pal! My sons loved to go to your house to play with Andrew, because "Mrs. Hogan makes the best lunch!!"....Grant and Zach, as well as all the rest of your friends, family and neighbors, are feeling the loss and are saddened because you were taken too soon. We will try to comfort each other and of course your precious family and we will look back at all the fond memories we have, like Halloween Bunco at Michelle's...doggie play dates...and passing by on evening walks. Thank you for being YOU and leaving footprints on the hearts of all you knew...and I'm sure, even those you didn't. We will never forget you...peace be with you, friend.
